Kenneth Bolf completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Language Arts Education at Oregon College of Education (now Western Oregon University) in 1972 and a Master of Science degree in Education in 1983. From 1972 to 1977 he taught high school English, before settling into a more permanent position at Central Linn High School in Halsey, Oregon where he taught from 1978 to 2002.
